The Cosma solution was selected for the Blue Innovation Challenge second edition, launched by Nice Metropole (France), to carry out an initial inventory of the biocenoses over a 25 ha study area. It is part of the development of the future marine protected area of the Nice Côte d’Azur metropolis (project in progress).

By mid 2024, over 12 ha have been covered and reconstructed using large-scale photogrammetry, enabling the visualization of a Photographic Seabed Model (PSM).

This identical reconstruction of habitats, geo-referenced with an accuracy of +/- 10cm, as well as a millimetric resolution of the models, gathers a large amount of information for the evaluation of the ecological status of benthic ecosystems, surfaces covered by biocenoses and different substrates or the quantification of species,…
